Neuro-development of Words - NOW!

Mental Imagery for Language, Comprehension, Memory and Reasoning

Teach your students to create movies in the "mind's eye" as they read or listen - making comprehension so much stronger and more meaningful.

with Dr. T.W. Conway, Neuro-psychologist, USA

For some students words just seem to “go in one ear and out the other”. This is because they do not create a mental image as they read. Most teachers try to remediate comprehension difficulties by practicing increasingly difficult passages. This is not an effective technique because it does not attend to the core deficit (the inability to create mental images). However NOW! Mental Imagery for Language, Comprehension, Memory and Reasoning teaches students to apply concept imagery to reading comprehension, oral language comprehension, following directions, and higher order thinking. In addition, NOW! Mental Imagery has a strong component of expressive language so that writing skills are also enhanced. These procedures are effective for all ages.
